Sales and Marketing Council of San Diego exists for the purpose of advancing the discipline of marketing and sales through education, mutual support for personal and professional growth, networking and providing a forum for the exchange of ideas. continues to be an educational arm of the BIA. Its goals are:

• to continue support for the home building industry and its members through informative, educational programs and seminars
• to support through scholarships and encourage participation in the MIRM (Member of the Institute of Residential Marketing) and CSP (Certified Sales Professional) educational programs
• to provide recognition of corporate and individual accomplishments through SAM award and sales award programs
• to continue to bond together through social fund raising events, which provide the means to support our commitment to the industry, our membership and BIA
